Oklahoma State Fans Had Some Suggestive Signs

One of the big matchups in week 1 of the college football season took down in Dallas as top-ranked Florida State faced Oklahoma State in primetime.

Cowboys vs. Seminoles. Now a matchup like that wouldn't bring any controversial signs from anyone at the game or during the popular College Gameday show Saturday morning, right?

Uh, Wrong?

Students at Oklahoma State showed their support for the Pokes in one of the worst ways possible.

If you didn't pay attention in American history when you were in school, the "Trail of Tears," was a mass relocation of Indian tribes from the southeastern United State to territory west of the Mississippi, actually in the state of Oklahoma.

Another sign that caught attention at Gameday was this one making a reference to Ferguson with a twist.

No "Hands Up! Don't Spear!" signs please, America. http://t.co/UGtXGDIlyQ pic.twitter.com/EsC5L3jsyU

Oh, and also these two guys who decided to dress up and support Jameis and the Seminoles Saturday night.

One of the students who held up the "Trail of Tears" sign apologized and Oklahoma State has addressed the situation.

OSU does not condone the insensitive sign shown at today's GameDay event and have requested that it be removed.

So, while everyone has been all over Dan Snyder to change the name of the Redskins, idiotic things like this are happening.

Oklahoma State might also consider a mascot that has an appearance that does not make kids cry.

Good morning! Here's the world's most terrifying mascot traumatizing a child. http://t.co/jbUvIZlZ3I pic.twitter.com/tUeDNS4I0W
